We had a house with plywood type siding where the grass would grow up outside into the wall find a way out. Need to kill the grass and cut it back there. Also need a check to make sure the gap isn’t too big. Had a snake that like that sleep in the garage wall near the dryer vent

Check if your neighbor has a plant in their garden. Bamboo is extremely invasive and destructive. It’s almost impossible to kill.
